We Are Currently Seeking TOP PRODUCERS For The Following Open Positions:

We Hire Timber Buyers

Timber Buyer (Timber Procurement Agent) - Upstate SC/Western NC region

Are you good with people?  Friendly?  Do you love the outdoors?  Are you at least a little familiar with trees species?

As a timber buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing timber from landowners or businesses that are looking to sell their timber.  While a background or degree in forestry will definitely help, we are willing to train the correct person for the job.  This position is a 1099 commission-ONLY based position.  However, you can reasonably expect to make approximately $50,000 a year on up with a logging crew that is moving between 35 to 50 loads a week.  We have large scale loggers waiting for tracts so you won't have to wait long for that first commission check if you sign someone in the first week (which is highly probable while under the guidance of our current Top Producer in Timber Procurement.)  If you can keep two loggers busy in timber - you can expect to make upwards to $75,000 to $100,000 (or more per year) depending on the total number of loads moved.

We cover the insurance. We set the prices. We dispatch the logger(s). We deal with the mills and payments for everyone involved in the transaction.  All we need you to do is view the timber and sign the purchase contract with landowner.  You will be expected to keep at least one mid to large scale logger's pipeline full of good timber tracts to log.  A mid to large scale logger can cut at least 10 to 15 acres a week and move between 35 to 50 loads a week depending on the weather.  Usually large scale loggers will not move on tracts less than 15 acres...but we do have small to mid size loggers that will.  However, you need to keep in mind that they typically move the wood at a slower pace.

Leads are provided for certain counties.  You will be expected to come up with some of your own leads as well.  You will need to be capable of walking large acre tracts as well as have a valid drivers license, a good vehicle and a smart phone.

If you feel you would be a good fit for the position, please send your resume and contact information to: arboration@gmail.com.
